Caro x Crowd Control: Peverelist [Livity Sound]

Volks, Brighton, 12th February, Doors open 11:00, 18+

The Caro Project 👨‍🚀and newly launched Crowd Control ⚠️partner up to bring you one of the founding fathers of UK dubstep, 140 wizard, Peverelist. For one night only The Volks Nightclub, will be transformed with a mad lineup of Brighton’s best upcoming DJ’s supplying nothing but motion in the dance!

This event is one of several teaser events leading to the announcement of a new underground music festival in Brighton…

Peverelist [Livity Sound]:

Peverelist first carved a name for himself as a producer with his instrumental role in the explosion of the Bristol Dubstep scene. With a unique dub and jungle influenced sound, he formed bonafide classic tracks of the era such as Roll With The Punches (Punch Drunk), Dance Til The Police Come (Hessle Audio) and Circling (Skull Disco).

In 2011 Peverleist launched his current label project Livity Sound Recordings. Working closely with fellow Bristol artists Kowton and Asusu, he created something more personal, fusing his influences of UK rhythms, the sonics of US & European techno and the textures of Jamaican dub music. The label quickly gained critical recognition and has become one of the most influential UK labels of the decade.

Peverelist’s urban and yet mystic sound has continuously shaped the UK’s underground scene. Huge excitement to see him take to the stage February 12th!
