Back2Bassics 1st Birthday & Official release party for “What just happened – Heny G” on Daylife Records

……………………..V.I.V.E.K……………………..
We are incredibly excited to announce that a true inspiration to millions world wide has been invited to celebrate our 1sr birthday with us. As we welcome V.I.V.E.K to our dance were sitting here already dreaming of the dubs he’s going to come down with. His label ‘System’ has some of the most forward thinking music in underground sound system culture. So you know he’s only going to bring pure fire.

………………………..AMIT……………………….
Well, what do we have to say about the winner of the ‘critics fav producer’ in the drum and bass awards? A true multi genre master. Sound system culture runs through his music like blood through veins, giving life to every single one of his productions! Amit’s just produce’s the maddest tunes. Now’er days he’s spending a lot of his time teaching the next generation of producers with his Audio Science tutorials, which we can tell you are rather eye opening. Catch him performing a 140 – 170 set on that monster RC1 rig we drag into that tiny room we call Volks.

……………………Foamplate………………………..
One of the last true vinylist left in the scene!! Its almost certain that as we invite Foamplate to Back2Bassics he’s working hard cutting a fresh bag of heavy weight dubs somewhere. Always bringing a vibe to every party he goes too. In our opinion Foamplate has had massive contraption to bringing the dubstep scene back too the masses with his releases on ‘crucial recordings’, ‘system’ and of course his own label “Powerplant”. So its an honour to have him come and celebrate our birthday with us!!

………………………Heny G………………………..
The friendliest man you ever meet! We had to invite Heny back as he was our first headliner at our first party a whole year ago! Not only are we celebrating our first birthday with Heny. This is also the official launch party to his new release on Daylife records “What’s just happened?”. The man is planning on making a strong come back this year with a whole heap of new metrerial to test out. We can’t f’in wait to hear these new dubs of his!

RC1
Weather you’ve had the pleasure of hearing an RC1 sound system before or not. Your in for a right treat! Weight and clarity runs through there wires to bring you one of the heaviest rigs on the circuit. We couldn’t think of anyone more fitting to represent our idea of a, “Small Dark Room, Big Fat Sound System”. RC1 is truly a hip shattering rig, come get your teeth, toes and eye lids shaken while we worry about the beautiful Brighton sea front collapsing.

Visual’s
At our events we shut off all the lights apart from a white strip behind the dj so all you see is a silhouette the dj. This is so We can also instal visual effects platform above the DJ. This time round we have the very talented Josh Harrison from XOYO providing some mind bending visual goodness. We can’t wait to show you this guys skills!! He’s as analog as you get in the VDJ world.

We miss London/Bristol line ups coming to Brighton. This is what we strive to bring back to the night life in this lovely city. Were not in this to make money, we just want to spread sound system music to sound system people. Come celebrate our birthday with us and treat yaself to some body breaking sub bass. Remember no matter if you identify yourself as a boy, girl or rocking horse, anyone is welcome. Good vibes only, don’t be a dick.
